Name: West Wind Motel & Townhouses
Business Description: Located in the Foothills of Upstate New York, the West Wind Motel & Townhouse is a small facility offering country style lodging in a quiet environment. Fully renovated this year, we offer access to some of the best skiing on natural snow, snowmobiling on over 250 miles of groomed trails, ATVing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and dining, all just a stone’s throw away. The ski/snowboarding area, Snow Ridge, is practically in our side yard and the snowmobile and A.T.V. trails pass thru our back yard. Snowshoeing and cross country skiing are virtually unlimited, with access to many groomed cross country trails. All our newly remodeled motel units each have two double beds and a private bath. Since there are only six units (plus an additional attached private bedroom with unit #6), groups often arrange to book the whole facility for their stay and have the place all to themselves. With three rooms on each floor a small group can take three rooms and have their floor all to themselves. All the rooms have coffee makers, refrigerators, and air conditioning with a microwave oven on each floor for our guests use. TV’s are either 24″ or 27″ with a DVD player in each room. If our guests want a living room and kitchen facilities, they can book a townhouse unit. We have four and each has a full kitchen with dishwasher, living room, dining area, two bedrooms, and a full bath. As a group they can book one or more each of our motel units and townhouses to combine sleeping units with kitchen/living area access.
Good restaurants abound, with several less than 3 miles away and probably 7 or 8 within 15 minutes of us.
Call manager Pixie Bobela at (315) 348-6856 any time or call our office weekdays at (315) 348-4021 to stay at what we think is the “best place around”. Our facilities are always spotless and as always “no smoking” inside. Watch our website for special offers and changing seasons. We look forward to seeing you.
